In this workshop, we will cover Break Away’s foundational models, the Community Collaborator Continuum and the 9 Components of Quality Community Engagement. Through these models, participants will be able to effect change in their programs, campuses, communities, and personal lives.

Workshop Aims

➔ Participants will be able to identify stages of development within the Community Collaborator Continuum and draw connections to their own experiences

➔ Participants will be introduced to the 9 Components of Quality Community Engagement

*We also offer workshops that go deeper into the 9 Components, such as the Learning Components (Education, Orientation, and Training), Reflection, Identity-Consciousness, and Reorientation.
